Diagnosis
Yeah, this one's common. Weak pressure is almost always an inlet water flow issue, not a pump failure. The K1700 needs a solid flow—check your garden tap pressure and make sure the inlet filter isn't clogged with debris.
How to Fix It
Unplug the washer. Unscrew the black plastic inlet hose connector from the machine. Inside, you'll find a small cylindrical filter screen. Pull it out and rinse it thoroughly under a tap, clearing any sediment or grit. Also, check that your garden hose isn't kinked and that the tap is fully open. Sometimes just using a different, less restrictive hose fixes it.
If That Didn't Work
The next suspect is a worn or damaged nozzle. The orifice in the high-pressure nozzles (especially the turbo nozzle) can wear out or get partially blocked. Inspect the nozzle for damage or debris. Try a different spray pattern nozzle (like the 0° or 25°) to see if pressure improves. If it does, the turbo nozzle is the culprit.
Heads Up
Don't be tempted to use a nozzle with a smaller orifice than what came with the machine to 'increase' pressure. It can overload the pump and motor, leading to a burnout.
