DIAGNOSIS The membrane switch for the PROGRAM function on the control panel is unresponsive. Either the conductive pad behind the button has worn out, or the connection to the main board is faulty.
FIX Unplug the unit. Press the PROGRAM button firmly several times. Sometimes the contact can be temporarily restored. Plug it back in. With the clock set, press and hold the PROGRAM button for 3 seconds to enter setting mode. If it responds, set the time quickly.
IF THAT DIDN'T WORK The control panel is a single, sealed unit. Individual buttons cannot be repaired. The entire front control panel assembly must be replaced to restore the PROGRAM function.
HEADS UP You can still use all manual functions (ON/OFF, BREW, CLEAN). Auto-brew is simply unavailable. Do not press the button excessively or use sharp objects, as you will puncture the membrane seal.
