Diagnosis
The default 'Standard' preset is often too bright and has poor color accuracy. You're likely seeing the effects of a high brightness/contrast setting crushing detail.
How to Fix It
Press the menu button, go to 'Color Settings'. First, change 'Preset Mode' to 'Warm' or 'Custom Color'. Then, manually adjust: set Brightness to around 40-50%, Contrast to 70-75%. For Custom Color, set R=96, G=96, B=100 as a good starting point for sRGB.
If That Didn't Work
Check your Windows or graphics card color settings. Right-click desktop, go to Display Settings > Advanced display > choose the monitor > Display adapter properties > Color Management. Ensure no odd profiles are set.
Heads Up
The 144Hz setting can sometimes cause minor color shifting in some apps. If color accuracy is critical for photo work, drop the refresh rate to 60Hz in the monitor OSD under 'Display' to test.
