Diagnosis
The blinking light means the system hasn't recognized the new filter, usually because the reset procedure wasn't done or the filter isn't seated properly.
How to Fix It
Here's the simple fix: 1. Make sure the new filter is fully inserted and locked into place—you should hear a click. 2. Press and hold the 'Filter Reset' button on the display panel for 3 to 5 seconds until the light turns solid or off. 3. Run water through the dispenser for about 2 minutes to purge air and activate the sensor. 4. If the light persists, unplug the fridge for a minute, then plug it back in and repeat the reset.
If That Didn't Work
The filter sensor itself might be faulty or there could be air in the line. Try removing and reinstalling the filter a couple of times to ensure good contact.

Use only Frigidaire-genuine filters for this model; third-party ones might not align correctly and can cause reset issues.
