Diagnosis
This points to an internal drain pan leak or a clog in the internal drain system if you're using the continuous drain hose. The water is finding a way out of the chassis instead of into the bucket or hose.
How to Fix It
1) Turn it off, unplug it, and empty the bucket. 2) Move the unit to a dry area and tilt it slightly back to see if water drips from a specific spot. 3) Check the continuous drain hose connection on the back. Make sure the rubber grommet is seated correctly and the hose is pushed in all the way and not cracked. If you're not using the hose, ensure the drain port plug is firmly in place. 4) Inspect the bottom of the bucket for cracks, especially around the handle area.
If That Didn't Work
The leak could be from the internal drain pan, which is a plastic tray that catches condensation before it routes to the bucket. This can crack or become disconnected. Diagnosing this requires opening the cabinet, which is a job for a qualified technician.
