water just dribbles out of my k-express instead of a steady stream, it takes forever to fill a cup

DIAGNOSIS The internal needle that punctures the K-Cup is clogged with coffee grounds or mineral scale.

FIX Perform an upper needle cleaning. Turn the machine off. Unplug it. Use the provided cleaning tool or a straightened paperclip. Insert it into the needle housing in the top of the K-Cup holder. Gently move it up and down to dislodge debris. Wipe away any loose material with a damp cloth.

IF THAT DIDN'T WORK The exit spout or internal tubing is likely scaled. Perform the full descaling procedure as outlined for the orange light issue. Scale buildup restricts water flow.

HEADS UP Never use a K-Cup more than once. Re-piercing a used pod forces old grounds into the needle, guaranteeing a clog.
