- Store idle power tools and battery packs out of the reach of children.
- When the battery pack is not in use, keep it away from other metal objects: paper clips, coins, keys, nails, screws, or any small metal objects that can make a connection from one terminal to another.
- Do not place the battery pack in aprons, pockets, tool boxes, drawers, etc., with loose conductive materials.
TRANSPORT WARNING: When transporting individual battery packs, ensure the terminals are protected and insulated from materials that could contact them and cause a short circuit. The US Department of Transportation Hazardous Material Regulations prohibit transporting unprotected batteries in commerce or on airplanes.
HEADS UP: At the end of the battery's life, do not throw it in the trash. Return the spent lithium-ion battery to an authorized DeWalt service center, retailer, or local recycling center for recycling. The RBRC Seal indicates the recycling cost has been paid.
