words are way too small on my sceptre e24 at 1080p, how do i make text bigger without making everything blurry?

Quick answer: Don't lower the resolution—that will make things blurry. Scale the UI elements in Windows instead.

Don't lower the resolution—that will make things blurry. Scale the UI elements in Windows instead.

For Windows 10/11:

  1. Right-click on your desktop and select Display settings.
  2. Under "Scale & layout," find the dropdown for Change the size of text, apps, and other items.
  3. Select a larger percentage (e.g., 125% or 150%). Click Apply. You may need to sign out and back in for changes to take full effect.

For older Windows (Vista/8): Right-click desktop > Personalize > Adjust font size (DPI) on the left. Change from Default scale to Large scale.

If that didn't work: You can also adjust font size specifically in individual applications like your web browser (usually under Settings > Appearance).

Heads up: Keep your monitor's resolution at its native 1920 x 1080. Changing it to something lower will result in a loss of clarity and a fuzzy picture.
