Diagnosis
Lost safety sensor alignment or power surge triggering a fault state. The three-beep pattern indicates a sensor or travel limit error post-power-up.
How to Fix It
Check sensor lights first. Realign if needed. If sensors are solid, perform a manual door cycle. Disengage the opener by pulling the red emergency release cord. Manually open and close the door fully. Re-engage the opener. Plug the unit back in. The beeping should stop. If not, reprogram the travel limits.
If That Didn't Work
The control board may have experienced a surge. Unplug the opener for 10 minutes to allow a full capacitor discharge and system reset. This clears transient faults.
Heads Up
Always disconnect the opener from the door before manual operation. Forcing the motor can damage the gear assembly.
