DIAGNOSIS The descaling rinse cycle was interrupted or not completed correctly. The machine is stuck in descaling mode.
FIX You must complete the descaling protocol. Empty and refill the water tank with fresh water. Place a container under the spout. With the machine on and the lid closed, press and hold the brew button for at least 7 seconds until the light flashes amber. This resumes the rinse cycle. Let it run until it automatically stops and the light returns to steady white.
IF THAT DIDN'T WORK The machine may have an airlock in the thermoblock. Power off and unplug. Wait 5 minutes. Remove the water tank and vigorously shake it to disrupt any surface tension. Reinstall the tank. Plug in and turn on. The system should reset.
HEADS UP During descaling, you must follow the audio/light prompts exactly. Do not turn the machine off mid-cycle. If the fast white flash persists after a proper rinse, the conductivity sensor in the tank base may be faulty, falsely detecting descaling solution.
