Yes. You filled past the MAX symbol on the glass nebuliser. Oil has likely entered the centre tube and is leaking into the base.
Fix:
- Unplug the unit.
- Remove the top cone, silencer, and nebuliser.
- Clean the nebuliser thoroughly with soapy water, rinse, and dry.
- Wipe the base interior with a damp cloth to remove any leaked oil.
- Refill correctly: Pour oil slowly with the nebuliser at a 45-degree angle. Do not fill past MAX.
If that didn't work: The nebuliser or silencer may not be seated correctly, causing spillage. Ensure the nebuliser is fully inserted into the base and the silencer is firmly placed in the nebuliser top before replacing the cone.
Heads up: Always place the silencer on the nebuliser and the cone back on the base. This protects the glass and contains the mist.
