alexa on my studio keeps saying 'sorry, i'm having trouble connecting to the internet' but my phone is on the same wifi and works fine.

DIAGNOSIS The Studio's Wi-Fi module has lost its stable connection, often due to router band steering, a weak signal at its location, or a corrupted network profile.

FIX Re-register the device to your network. In the Alexa app, go to Devices > Echo Studio > Settings > Status and tap Reconnect. If that fails, go to Settings > Network and tap Forget Network. Then set up the Wi-Fi again as if it were new, choosing your 2.4GHz band.

IF THAT DIDN'T WORK Your router may be assigning a problematic IP address. Log into your router, find the Echo Studio in the connected devices list, and remove it (or delete its DHCP lease). Then unplug the Studio for 30 seconds. When it reboots, the router will assign a fresh IP.

HEADS UP If you have a mesh network, the Studio might be hopping between nodes. Use your router's app to assign the Studio to the primary node or the closest one permanently to prevent drops.
