braava jet m6 keeps saying low battery and stopping even though it's on the charger, why?

— asked by Lisa

The robot isn't making proper contact with the charging station.

  • First, check the light ring. A solid white means fully charged; pulsing white means charging; a red ring with an audio alert means an error.
  • Ensure the robot is slid fully onto the charging station contacts. The rear docking sensor must align.
  • Clean the charging contacts on both the robot and the station with a dry cloth.
  • Make sure the charging station is plugged in and the outlet is working.

If that didn't work: The robot may have been in a cleaning job when docked. If the CLEAN text is pulsing while on the charger, it's in the middle of a job and will resume once recharged. Tap CLEAN to see details of any other error.

Note: For optimal battery conditioning, use the robot frequently.
