This usually points to a sensor issue or a problem with the tank's connection.
Let's troubleshoot step-by-step:
- Remove and reseat the tank. Take it off completely, ensure the cap is closed, and firmly reattach it to the robot. You should hear it click into place.
- Check the tank's lid latch. Make sure it's fully closed and not obstructed.
- Clean the sensor areas. On the bottom of the robot, where the tank attaches, wipe any moisture or debris from the contacts and sensors with a dry, soft cloth.
- Inspect the tank's Precision Jet Spray Nozzle for clogs. You can rinse it with warm water.
IF THAT DIDN'T WORK: The robot might need a reboot. Hold the HOME button for 10 seconds until all lights go off. Then place it on the charging station to restart.
HEADS UP: Only fill the tank with water to the top line (13 fl oz / 385 mL). Overfilling can cause sensor misreads. Use warm water, not boiling.
