Diagnosis
That’s the vacuum telling you it’s not properly docked or connected to power. The blue flashing light with a beep almost always means it’s in ‘docking’ or ‘charging error’ mode.
How to Fix It
First, check the physical connection. 1) Make sure the vacuum is seated all the way back on the charging dock. You should hear a click. 2) Check that the dock’s power adapter is firmly plugged into the wall outlet. 3) Look at the metal charging pins on both the dock and the bottom of the vacuum. Wipe them with a dry cloth to remove any dust or debris that’s blocking the connection. Once it’s seated correctly on a clean connection, the light should turn a solid blue for charging or go off, and it’ll be ready to go.
IF THAT DIDN’T WORK Try a ‘hard reset’. Take the vacuum off the dock, hold down the power button for about 10 seconds until you see all the lights cycle, then place it back on the dock. This can clear a temporary glitch. If it still flashes, try plugging the dock’s power cable directly into the vacuum’s charging port (bypassing the dock) to see if it charges. If it does, the issue is with your docking station.
Heads Up
Never use a wet cloth or cleaner on those charging pins—moisture can cause corrosion and permanent connection problems. A dry microfiber cloth is your best bet.
