Diagnosis
The vacuum’s sensors are overly sensitive or hair/fibers are wound so tightly around the brush ends that the motor is straining, even if the central area looks clear.
How to Fix It
You need to do a full brush roll removal and inspection. 1) Flip the vacuum over and press the two red unlock buttons on the brush cover. 2) Lift the cover off and pull the brush roll straight out. 3) This is the key part: look at the very ends of the brush roll, near the bearings. Use a seam ripper, small scissors, or the included cleaning tool to cut and remove any hair or thread wound around the axles. Even a few tight strands here can create enough drag to trigger the error. 4) Also, check the brush chamber for any small debris like Lego pieces or rocks. Reassemble and try again.
IF THAT DIDN’T WORK The brush roll itself might be worn out or damaged. Spin it by hand on a table. It should spin freely and quietly. If it’s wobbly, grinds, or has stiff spots, the bearings are likely shot and you’ll need a replacement brush roll.
Heads Up
Make a habit of checking and cleaning those brush ends every few weeks, especially if you have long hair or pets. Prevention is a lot easier than dealing with the error mid-clean.
