No. You can only connect it to specific Honda models using an approved Honda parallel operation cable kit.
Permitted parallel connections for an EU2200i:
- Another EU2200i or EU2200i Companion.
- An EU2000i or EU2000i Companion, but only if the EU2000i model has a serial number within these ranges: EAAJ-2017305 and later, or EACT-1000001 and later.
Required equipment: You must use the official Honda parallel operation cable kit (optional equipment). Do not use any other cable or method.
Procedure: Connect the cable to the parallel operation outlets on both generators before starting either engine. This setup is necessary to obtain more than 1.8 kVA from the 30A twist-lock receptacle on an EU2200i Companion model.
Critical warning: Never connect an EU2200i to a different generator model other than those specified above. Doing so can damage both generators and create serious safety hazards.
