Yes. Run a brew cycle without coffee grounds.
- Add cold water to the reservoir.
- Place a clean, empty filter in the basket.
- Place the empty carafe on the warming plate.
- Start the brew cycle normally. It will dispense hot water into the carafe.
Do not run it completely dry. Always have water in the reservoir when the heating element is active.
