can i use swiffer wetjet solution or vinegar in my braava m6 instead of the irobot stuff?

Yeah, this is a common question. The short answer is no, don't do it.

Braava jet Hard Floor Cleaning Solution is the only solution that can be safely used. It's a specific concentrate for all well-sealed hard floors. Using other solutions, including Swiffer fluids, vinegar, or all-purpose cleaners, can damage the robot's internal components and void your warranty.

The right way to fill the tank:

1. If you're using the official solution, add 6 capfuls to the empty tank first.
2. Then fill the rest with water to the top (13 fl oz / 385 mL total).
3. If you're just using water, skip to step 2.

Heads up: The robot will only run with Braava jet m Series pads. Don't pre-wet them—the robot handles the moisture.
