Yes, but with a key limitation. The Chime Pro extends a dedicated Wi-Fi network specifically for Ring devices. It is not a universal Wi-Fi extender.
How to Fix It
Set up the Chime Pro normally in the Ring app. Once connected to your home Wi-Fi, it broadcasts its own SSID for Ring devices. To connect a Ring Camera (like a Stick Up Cam), go through its normal setup in the Ring app. When prompted to select a Wi-Fi network, the app will automatically show and prioritize the Chime Pro's extended network if the camera is in range.
If That Didn't Work
The camera may be trying to connect to your main router directly. During the camera setup process, ensure the camera is physically closer to the Chime Pro than to your main router. The app's device health will show which network the camera is connected to.
Heads Up
The Chime Pro's extended network is only for data from Ring devices. It does not improve the Wi-Fi signal for your phone, laptop, or any other non-Ring product. Its bandwidth is dedicated to optimizing the connection for your Ring ecosystem.
