Diagnosis
This is typically caused by IP address lease conflicts or interference from other 2.4 GHz devices. The Chime Pro loses its stable connection to your router.
How to Fix It
Log into your router's admin panel. Find the connected devices list. Locate the Chime Pro's MAC address. Assign it a static IP address or a DHCP reservation. This prevents its IP address from changing. Next, in your router's Wi-Fi settings, change the 2.4 GHz channel to 1, 6, or 11 to avoid congestion.
If That Didn't Work
The issue may be the Chime Pro's own software. In the Ring app, go to the Chime Pro device settings. Ensure it is running the latest firmware. The app updates it automatically, but a manual check can trigger an update. A reboot after a firmware update is required.
Heads Up
Do not place the Chime Pro near other electronics that emit strong 2.4 GHz signals, such as microwaves, baby monitors, or Bluetooth speakers. Physical interference is a common cause of periodic dropouts.
