- Check the cable: Use the provided USB-C (C to C) cable or a certified cable that supports USB 3.2 Gen 2 and Power Delivery. The port supports PD up to 20V/4.5A.
- Check the port: Ensure you're plugged into the correct USB-C (Video + Data) port on the monitor, not a downstream USB Type-C port.
- Check the connection: The USB-C upstream cable must be securely connected to both the monitor and your laptop.
- Check laptop compatibility: The USB-C port provides video, data, and power. Confirm your laptop accepts power delivery via USB-C.
IF THAT DIDN'T WORK: The monitor might be in a power-saving mode. Wake it up by pressing any button. Also, try a different USB-C cable known to work for charging. For the U2722DE model, note that USB-C is not supported on Windows versions prior to Windows 10.
HEADS UP: The downstream USB Type-C ports (labeled with a battery icon) support 5V/3A charging for peripherals like phones, but they do not provide the full power needed for a laptop. Your laptop must be connected to the main USB-C (Video + Data) input port.
