DIAGNOSIS The light timer function is either disabled or set to its maximum duration. The default setting keeps the light on for 4.5 minutes, but it can be adjusted.
FIX To adjust the light timer, press and hold the light button on the wall console for 10 seconds. You will hear a series of beeps. Each beep represents a 30-second increment of light-on time. Release the button after the number of beeps corresponding to your desired time (e.g., 3 beeps for 1.5 minutes). The setting is saved automatically.
IF THAT DIDN'T WORK The light button on the wall console may be stuck in the 'on' position. Physically check the button for debris or damage. Try operating the light with the button on the motor unit itself.
HEADS UP If you wish to disable the timer entirely so the light only operates manually, follow the same procedure but release the button after the tenth beep. This sets the timer to 'hold' mode.
