DIAGNOSIS The device's RAM is exhausted. This happens due to app cache buildup, too many background processes, or a memory leak in a specific app.
FIX Clear the system cache and force stop problematic apps. Step 1: Go to Settings > Applications > Manage Installed Applications. Step 2: Select the app giving the error (e.g., Hulu). Choose 'Force stop', then 'Clear cache'. Do not select 'Clear data' unless you are okay logging in again. Step 3: Repeat for 'Prime Video'. Step 4: Go back to the main Applications menu, select 'Appstore', and perform 'Force stop' and 'Clear cache'.
IF THAT DIDN'T WORK Perform a full system cache clear. Go to Settings > My Fire TV > Restart. Immediately after selecting 'Restart', hold the Back button and Right directional button on your remote for 10 seconds until the recovery screen appears. Use the directional buttons to select 'Clear Cache' and press Select. Then select 'Restart'.
HEADS UP This error is frequently triggered by the Silk Browser. If you use it, force stop and clear its cache after each use. Leaving it running consumes RAM continuously.
