DIAGNOSIS Oils from skin and dust are creating a film. Using a dry cloth or a cloth with residue just redistributes it.
FIX Power off and unplug the monitor. Let it cool. Use distilled water or a 50/50 mix of distilled water and white vinegar on a soft, lint-free microfiber cloth. Wring it out completely—it should be damp, not wet. Wipe the screen gently in one direction. Immediately dry with a second clean, dry microfiber cloth.
IF THAT DIDN'T WORK For stubborn spots, use a monitor-specific cleaning spray, never glass cleaner. Spray the cloth, not the screen. The anti-glare coating on this panel is delicate and can be stripped by ammonia or alcohol.
HEADS UP Never apply pressure to the center of the curved screen. It's more fragile than a flat panel. Support the back with your other hand while cleaning the edges.
