Diagnosis
The powder-coated steel grille and silicone shell are water-resistant, but dirt can clog the fabric mesh behind it, affecting sound.
How to Fix It
Unplug the speaker. Use a soft, dry brush (like a clean paintbrush) to dislodge dry mud. For stains, dampen a soft cloth with lukewarm water and a drop of mild dish soap. Wring it out completely. Gently wipe the grille and silicone. Never spray liquid directly onto the speaker. Dry immediately with a dry cloth.
If That Didn't Work
For ingrained dirt, use a soft-bristled toothbrush with plain water. Brush gently in a circular motion. Do not scrub the fabric harshly. Never use solvents, alcohol, or compressed air.
Heads Up
The speaker is IP67 rated only when all port covers are securely closed. Ensure the USB-C and 3.5mm aux port covers are fully sealed before any cleaning and are completely dry before reopening.
