Diagnosis
The grille is a non-removable acoustic fabric. Standard dusting pushes dust into the fabric and driver holes.
How to Fix It
Use a vacuum with a soft brush attachment. This is the safest, most effective method.
1. Turn the soundbar off and unplug it.
2. Use a dry, soft-bristled brush attachment on your vacuum cleaner.
3. Set the vacuum to a low or medium suction setting.
4. Gently brush and vacuum the entire grille surface in straight lines, following the weave of the fabric. Do not press hard.
5. For stubborn spots, use a slightly damp (not wet) microfiber cloth. Dab, don't wipe. Let it air dry completely before plugging back in.
If That Didn't Work
For sticky residues (like from cooking grease), use a specialized electronics cleaning foam or a dry cleaning sponge (like a Mr. Clean Magic Eraser used DRY). Gently rub the affected area with the dry sponge—it will crumble and lift the grime.
Heads Up
Never use liquid cleaners, sprays, solvents, or compressed air. Liquids can seep through the fabric and damage the speakers and internal electronics. Compressed air can force dust deeper inside.
