The main maintenance is using genuine Epson 522 series ink. Non-genuine ink causes clogs and damage not covered by the 2-year warranty.
For performance, run it at the recommended monthly page volume of up to 500 pages. The maximum duty cycle is 3,000 pages, but running near that constantly is not advised.
Store it in 5% to 85% humidity with no condensation.
