Diagnosis: A network configuration conflict or firewall block.
Fix: First, restore the printer's network settings to default and reconnect.
- On the printer control panel, press and hold the Information button for 3 seconds, then release. All buttons will light up.
- Press and hold the Wireless button and the Cancel button together. The printer will restart and the Wireless button will blink blue, indicating it's in setup mode.
- Use the HP Smart app to reconnect the printer to your Wi-Fi network.
If that didn't work, check these items:
- Antivirus or firewall software on your computer may be blocking the connection. Use the HP online firewall troubleshooter.
- Run the HP Print and Scan Doctor utility to diagnose and fix the issue automatically.
- Ensure the router and printer are not too far apart.
