Diagnosis
The clean indicator is time-based, not sensor-based. It triggers after a set number of brew cycles, regardless of your actual descaling.
How to Fix It
You need to manually reset the counter. With the machine off, press and hold the 12oz and Travel Mug buttons simultaneously for 5 seconds. The clean light should turn off.
If That Didn't Work
If the light remains, the control board might need a hard reset. Unplug the machine for at least 2 hours, then plug it back in and try the button reset sequence again.
Heads Up
Even after resetting the light, you should still descale with a proper descaling solution or vinegar every 1-3 months if you have hard water to prevent internal damage.
