Diagnosis
The control board isn't getting power. The most likely cause is a tripped thermal fuse in the power base or a loose plug connection.
How to Fix It
First, unplug the machine and let it sit for at least 30 minutes. This allows any internal thermal safety fuse to reset. While unplugged, check the power cord connection at the back of the machine—make sure it's fully seated in the port. After the wait, plug it directly into a wall outlet (not a power strip) and try the power button.
If That Didn't Work
The internal thermal fuse may have blown permanently, often from a previous overheating event like a boil-dry. This requires replacing the fuse or the entire power base—contact Ninja Customer Support for service options.
Heads Up
Never run the coffee maker without water in the reservoir, as this is the primary cause of the thermal fuse blowing.
