Diagnosis
The thermal overload protector in the motor is activating. The motor is overheating.
How to Fix It
Let the machine cool down completely for 30 minutes. Check the pump oil level using the sight glass on the side. It should be in the green zone. If low, add non-detergent SAE 30 oil specified for pressure washer pumps only. Ensure you're not using the machine in direct, hot sun for extended periods.
If That Didn't Work
You may be using too narrow a spray tip (like 0°). This creates maximum backpressure and strain. Switch to a 25° or 40° white tip for general cleaning to reduce load.
Heads Up
This unit has a duty cycle. Do not run it continuously for more than 5-10 minutes at full pressure. Give it a cool-down period.
