just got a ryobi one+ p215k1 drill, how do i know when the battery is actually charged and not just pretending?

Use the integrated fuel gauge on the ONE+ Lithium+ battery.

  • Press the button on the battery side.
  • Four green LEDs indicate charge level: 4 lights = 75-100%, 3 lights = 50-75%, 2 lights = 25-50%, 1 light = 10-25%.
  • No lights or a flashing single light means the battery needs charging.

The battery uses IntelliCell™ technology, which manages power distribution and includes protection against overloading and excessive heat. When charging is complete, the charger indicator will show a solid light.

IF THAT DIDN'T WORK: If the battery gauge shows no lights even after an extended charge, the battery may be defective or the charger may be faulty. Try a different battery on the same charger, or the same battery on a different compatible ONE+ charger.
