DIAGNOSIS The internal fuse on the main control board has likely blown. This is a common failure point on these units, often triggered during initial plug-in.
FIX Unplug the machine. Locate the fuse holder on the back or side of the unit near the power cord entry. It's a small, black, cylindrical component you can unscrew. Remove the old glass fuse (usually 5A 250V). Replace it with an identical fuse. Plug the machine back in.
IF THAT DIDN'T WORK The issue is the main control board itself. You'll need to access the internal components by removing the rear panel. Test for continuity on the power cord where it connects to the board. If power is reaching the board but it's dead, the board needs replacement.
HEADS UP Always plug this type of appliance directly into a wall outlet. Do not use an extension cord or power strip. A surge during the compressor cycle can blow the fuse instantly.
