my air fryer won’t turn on at all, no lights, nothing. i’ve checked the outlet.

DIAGNOSIS Total power failure usually means the thermal fuse has blown, which is a one-time safety device that trips if the unit severely overheats. It’s different from the E-01 error.

FIX First, confirm the outlet works with another appliance. Next, check that the power cord is fully seated in the port on the back of the unit—it can look plugged in but not be clicked in all the way. If that’s good, the blown thermal fuse is the likely culprit.

IF THAT DIDN'T WORK If you’re handy, you can find teardown guides online to access and test/replace the thermal fuse (it’s a small white component near the heating chamber). If not, this is a job for Ninja’s warranty service or a repair shop.

HEADS UP A blown thermal fuse often follows an ignored E-01 error or a severe blockage. If you get it replaced, fixing the root cause (cool-down time, ventilation) is critical or it’ll just happen again.
