my ninja foodi dualzone keeps shutting off before the timer is done, why?

Check for three things: unit overheating, standby mode activation, or a paused zone.

1. Ensure at least 6 inches (15.25 cm) of space above and on all sides for air circulation. Do not cover the air intake or outlet vents.
2. The unit enters standby mode after 10 minutes of no interaction with the control panel. The Power button dims. Press it to reactivate.
3. In dual-zone cooking, you may have accidentally paused one zone. Select a zone. If "Hold" or a paused timer shows, press START/PAUSE to resume.

If that didn't work, the unit may have an internal fault. If it ever emits black smoke, unplug immediately. Wait for smoking to stop before removing accessories. Do not use it again and contact Customer Service.
