You need to adjust the cook time for a single basket on your Ninja Foodi DualZone Air Fryer while a program is actively running. This is a core feature for managing independent cooking tasks, and the process is straightforward but depends on whether you are cooking in one zone or both.
How to Fix It
The key is first selecting the specific zone (Left or Right) you wish to modify. Follow these steps:
- While the appliance is operating, press the LEFT or RIGHT Zone button on the control panel. This highlights the selected zone's settings on the display.
- With that zone selected, press the TIME ▲ or TIME ▼ arrows to increase or decrease the remaining cook time. Each press typically adjusts by one minute.
- The change takes effect instantly. The timer for the selected basket will count down from the new time you set.
If That Didn't Work
If pressing the Zone button doesn't seem to select or highlight a zone, ensure the cooking program is active and not in a preheat phase or finished state. If the display is unresponsive, press the Start/Stop button once to pause the cooking, make your time adjustments, then press Start/Stop again to resume. For persistent control panel issues, unplug the unit for 60 seconds to perform a full system reset, then restart your cook program.
Heads Up
Always use oven mitts when pressing buttons during operation, as the top of the unit and the basket handles become extremely hot. Adjusting time does not reset or alter the cooking temperature for that zone.
