For example, using a "Max" setting for thick-cut frozen fries or large chicken breasts causes the outer proteins to caramelize and burn before the internal temperature reaches the safe zone. You can confirm this by checking the bottom of your basket halfway through a cycle; if you find a layer of soggy, pale food beneath a layer of charred food, your airflow is being obstructed.
How to Fix It
To ensure even cooking and prevent exterior burning, follow these precise steps:
