The basket is overfilled.
Fix: Remove the basket. Take out about a third of the food. Do not pack food in. Ensure the crisper plate is seated flat in the basket. Reinsert.
If That Didn't Work: Check for food debris or grease on the basket rails or inside the air fryer cavity. Clean both with a damp cloth. Ensure the basket is cool and dry.
Heads Up: Overfilling blocks air circulation. Food won't cook evenly. It can also cause the basket to overheat. Use smaller batches.
