my chefman compact air fryer won't turn on at all, no lights

Let's start with the basics. This is almost always a simple connection issue.

Diagnosis: The unit isn't getting power, or the basket isn't seated correctly.

Fix:

1. First, check that the air fryer is plugged securely into a 120V, 60Hz outlet. Do not use a 220-240V outlet.
2. Make sure the power cord isn't damaged.
3. Push the basket firmly and completely into the air fryer until it clicks or feels secure. The unit won't start if the basket isn't detected.

If That Didn't Work: Try a different outlet on your kitchen counter. Avoid outlets below the counter. If it still doesn't power on, the unit may have an internal fault. Contact support.

Heads Up: Never use an extension cord unless it's rated for at least 900W. Letting the cord hang over a counter edge is a tripping hazard.
