Diagnosis: The power supply is the issue. You're either not using the correct adapter or it's not connected properly.

Fix:

  1. Check the power adapter. You must use the original one that came in the box. The specs are DC Output: +19V with 2.37A or +19.5V with 2.31A. Using a different one can damage the router.
  2. Ensure the adapter is firmly plugged into the Power (DC-IN) port on the router and into a working wall outlet.
  3. Press the Power button on the router. The Power LED should light up.

If that didn't work: Try a different power outlet. If the router still shows no sign of life with the correct adapter, the unit or adapter may be defective.

Heads up: Never use a third-party power adapter. It must be the one from the original package.
