Diagnosis
This is almost always an issue with the audio signal or connection, not a faulty speaker. Digital interference or a poor HDMI cable are the prime suspects.
How to Fix It
Replace your HDMI cable. Use a certified High-Speed or Ultra High-Speed HDMI cable between the soundbar’s HDMI 1 (eARC) port and your TV’s eARC port. Avoid long, cheap, or damaged cables.
If That Didn't Work
The audio format might be causing a decode issue. On your TV or source device (Blu-ray player, game console), change the audio output format from “Auto” or “Bitstream” to “PCM” as a test. If the popping stops, it’s a format compatibility glitch.
Heads Up
If the pop happens only when starting or stopping audio, it's a normal relay click from the internal amplifier powering on/off. A constant crackle during playback is the problem.
