DIAGNOSIS: The robot is failing to acquire its position from the Home Base. The most common cause is a dirty or obscured infrared window on the front of the dock.
FIX: Power off the robot and the dock. Use a dry microfiber cloth to thoroughly wipe the circular infrared window on the dock's front face. Clean the corresponding window on the robot's front bumper. Ensure the dock is on a flat, hard surface with at least 3 feet of clear space in front. Power everything back on.
IF THAT DIDN'T WORK: The dock's IR transmitter may have failed. Try a factory reset: hold the CLEAN button on the robot for 20 seconds until it beeps. Re-run the mapping process from scratch.
HEADS UP: Do not use glass cleaner or liquids on the IR windows. Residue can distort the signal. This issue will prevent any job from starting.
