How to Fix It

To resolve this, you must either replace the physical drum unit or manually reset the internal counter if you are installing a new unit.

1. Open the front cover of the printer to access the internal assembly.
2. Grasp the handle of the toner cartridge and pull it straight out of the drum unit. Set the toner aside in a clean area to avoid spilling powder.
3. Grasp the handle of the DR310 drum unit and pull the entire assembly out of the machine.
