DIAGNOSIS The motor is underpowered for the cut, usually due to a dull chain, trying to cut too aggressively, or insufficient chain oil.
FIX Let off the trigger immediately. Check your cutting technique—don't force the saw or use the tip. Let the chain speed do the work. Ensure the chain is sharp and properly oiled.
IF THAT DIDN'T WORK You may be trying to cut wood that is too large in diameter for this electric saw's capacity. The CS1500 is designed for limbing and cutting small to medium branches.
HEADS UP Continuous bogging can trip the thermal overload. If it cuts out, unplug it and let it cool fully before attempting to restart.
