Most likely a battery connection issue or a completely discharged battery.
- Remove the battery pack by pressing the release button and sliding it out.
- Inspect the battery terminals on both the drill and the battery. Look for dirt, grease, or metal debris like paper clips or screws. Wipe clean with a dry cloth or soft non-metallic brush. Do not use water or cleaning solutions.
- Reinsert the battery firmly until it clicks into place.
- Pull the trigger. If it still doesn't work, place the battery on the specified CRAFTSMAN charger. A completely depleted battery will need to recharge before use.
If that didn't work: The battery pack may be damaged. Do not use a battery pack that has been dropped, run over, pierced, or has a cracked case. Using a damaged battery can create a risk of fire. Return it to a service center.
Heads up: Always use only CRAFTSMAN V20 battery packs with this tool. Using other battery packs may create a risk of injury and fire. Store batteries in a cool, dry place away from metal objects.
