DIAGNOSIS The thermal fuse on the heating element has blown. This is a safety device. It trips if the boiler runs dry or the thermostat fails.
FIX Unplug the machine. Remove the outer case. Locate the heating element assembly. You'll see a small glass fuse attached to it. Test it for continuity. Replace the blown fuse with an identical 184°C thermal cutoff fuse. Reassemble.
IF THAT DIDN'T WORK The main control board may have failed. Check for burned components or cracked solder joints on the board near the power relay. You'll likely need a full board replacement.
HEADS UP This fuse blows for a reason. Before replacing it, verify the water reservoir is seated correctly and the internal water tube isn't kinked or blocked. A dry boil will blow the new fuse too.
