DIAGNOSIS Power is not reaching the control board. The internal thermal fuse on the heating element is the most likely culprit. It's in series with the main power.
FIX Check the obvious first. Test the outlet with another device. Ensure the power cord is fully plugged into the back of the coffee maker. If that's good, you need to open the unit. Test the thermal fuse on the heating element for continuity. No continuity means it's blown. Replace it.
IF THAT DIDN'T WORK The power cord itself may have an internal break. Unplug the cord from the machine and test it for continuity between the prongs and the internal connector. A broken cord requires replacement.
HEADS UP Before disassembling, always unplug the unit. The thermal fuse is a safety device. Replacing it without finding the root cause (like a dry boil) will result in another blown fuse.
