DIAGNOSIS The tool overheated and triggered its thermal protection. This happens during prolonged, aggressive use in dense material.
FIX Let the tool cool down completely. This takes 15-20 minutes. Check the accessory. A dull or wrong blade creates excessive friction and heat. Install a sharp, correct blade for your material.
IF THAT DIDN'T WORK The issue might be a failing switch or motor. Remove the battery and press the trigger rapidly a few times. Listen for a faint, scratchy sound inside. That indicates debris in the switch or worn contacts.
HEADS UP Never force the tool or block its vents. Continuous overheat cycles can permanently damage the motor windings.
