Diagnosis
This is a power supply or safety lockout issue. The most common cause is a tripped GFCI outlet or a defective extension cord.
How to Fix It
Plug the pressure washer directly into a known-good GFCI outlet without any extension cord. Press the 'Reset' button on the outlet firmly. Then flip the pressure washer's rocker switch to 'I'.
If That Didn't Work
Check the 13-amp thermal overload protector on the motor. Let the unit cool for 30 minutes. Press the red reset button on the motor end cap. If it clicks, try powering on again.
Heads Up
Never use an undersized extension cord. This unit requires a 12-gauge cord for runs over 50 feet. A 14-gauge cord will cause voltage drop and prevent startup.
